Located right on the beach in Ocean City, the house originally built in 1986 looks nothing like the home that stand there now after it’s extensive renovation.
To start, the entire home was gutted and a third floor added. This allowed for on open floor plan on the first floor, and a total of 5 bedrooms with 4 1/2 bath rooms. We built new decks off 2 of the 3 new third floor bedrooms. A new wrap around deck was built at the 2nd floor level.
All of this work was done without changing the footprint of the house!
Exterior finishes include CertainTeed Belmont shingles on the roof, Andersen 400 Series windows and doors, Alaskan Yellow Cedar for siding, all solid pvc trims, Intex PVC railings with mahogany top, poly-urea sprayed decks with Ipe decking installed over top. Copper gutters and downspouts complete the exterior
Interior finished include real wood floors, custom kitchen countertops with custom wood butcher block on the island, craftsman style doors and moldings, and Signature Custom cabinets for the kitchen and bathrooms.
The house had such a dramatic makeover, it was featured in The Philadelphia Enquirer!
Renovation creates space to entertain beach side in Ocean City.
